Mental health considerations: We teach you how to support your clients’ mental health and well-being, as well as their physical health.
This course is delivered in collaboration with our employer partner Everyone Active at their sites across the UK and include:
- Guaranteed interview for either an employed or self-employed personal trainer role at your chosen EA site (upon successful completion of the course)
- A complimentary Everyone Active gym membership for the set course duration
- Guest passes for your “client”
- 1 x Everyone Active PT Academy T-shirt to wear onsite, when attending face-to-face workshops and using the club to practice and coach your selected “client”

The Level 3 Diploma in Gym Instructing and Personal Training does not require you to have any prior qualifications in order to enrol
Prior to registration for the qualification, learners are required to:
- be accurately identified
- be at least 18 years of age
- be able to communicate effectively in English [reading, speaking, listening & writing]
- confirm availability to attend all face-to-face workshop days
Equipment Requirement:
- you will need a laptop or a suitable tablet device to complete this course.
- you will need a device capable of recording video, like a camera or smartphone
- reliable internet access is a must-have to view course materials, attend online webinars, and access other course-related information.
We’re super excited to offer you our blended learning program that combines the best of both worlds – the flexibility of online study and the richness of face-to-face workshops. While some providers may offer these courses entirely online, we believe that in-person interactions are essential for a student’s success. Our face-to-face workshops provide hands-on practice and real-time feedback, which is proven to make learning more engaging and effective.
We offer the following course formats:
- 12-week in-person
- 16-Week online (blended learning)
12-week in-person: The course is designed to be completed within a 12-week timeframe, including 12 days of in-person workshops.
16-week Online (blended learning):
This 16-week program is designed to fit around your existing work and personal commitments. It primarily offers online learning via tutor led webinars that you will access remotely. Additionally, the course includes four compulsory in-person workshop days.
We understand that individual completion might extend beyond this, especially if there’s a need for re-assessment of skills or revisiting any part of the portfolio. That’s why we offer a maximum of 12 months to finalise your qualification. Please note that once this 12 month timeframe has passed, access to learning resources and tutor support will cease, signifying the official expiration of the course.
